Draft Association Agreement with EU accessible for familiarization - Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

The Cabinet conducts a dialogue with the public, having posted the draft Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on the government portal.

The Media Liaison Department of the Cabinet's Secretariat draws attention to this.

“On approaching to the Vilnius Summit of the Western Partnership, an interest is growing in the society to the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and its member states. The government pays proper attention to a dialogue with the public on the problems of concluding this agreement. Therefore, the draft agreement is posted in the column “European Integration” of the government portal,” the department's statement reads.

The department also reminds that internal state procedures are being completed in Ukraine, related to preparation of the agreement for signing. According to a public statement of the Justice Ministry, the draft Association Agreement complies with the Constitution of Ukraine, the applicable law and a practice and realization of Ukraine's contractual commitments.

At the European Union level, relevant adjustment procedures are also underway, linguistic-legal examination of the agreement text is held in the Ukrainian language and in the EU countries' languages, etc.
