Hetman Sahaydachnyi frigate completes its fifth patrolling / Photos
On December 11-23, the personnel of he national contingent of the Ukrainian Navy Hetman Sahaychanyi frigate led by Rear Admiral Tarasov ensured safe navigation in the Gulf of Aden.
The frigate fifth patrolling was conducted along the Somali coast. Ka-27 PS helicopters pilots completed air reconnaissance; the special team approached with friendly visits to fishers to clear the piracy activity in the area; the ship crew executed practical gun practice and a range of ship exercise and trainings.
AndriyDuring this patrolling the frigate received aboard some high officials on board. Now, the ship anchored at the Djibouti port for replenishment and logistic support.
