Turkey eyes $25.4 bln in 2013 tourism revenues

Turkey expects its tourism revenues to reach $25.4 billion next year with an estimated 33 million visitors, according to a government program for 2013.

The figures mark an 3.8 percent rise in the number of foreign visitors from 31.8 million in 2012 and an 8.1 percent increase in revenues from $23.5 billion.

Turkey claims 6.2 percent share of the European market in the number of visitors and a 5 percent share in terms on revenues.
