Visa procedure for volunteers and staff of the 2014 Olympics will be simplified
On November 28 Russia’s Council of the Federation has approved a law that simplifies visa procedures. For this category of foreigners, visas will be issued free of charge.
If the regular mode of processing an invitation takes up to 30 days, for applications submitted through the Olympics Organizing Committee and the Russian Foreign Ministry, this period may be shortened to one day.
