Odesa refinery will boost processing volumes threefold

The Odesa oil refinery, which had resumed production in September, has already processed 58,800 tons of oil and will soon reach the planned volumes.

The Odesa Regional State Administration told Ukrinform about this.

“The Odesa oil refinery will fully resume work in the nearest time and will be able to monthly process 180,000-200,000 tons of oil,” the Odesa Regional State Administration noted.

The enterprise, which had been recently purchased by the East-European fuel and energy company VETEK produces gasoline A92 and A95, as well as diesel fuel according to ecological fuel standards Euro-4, existing in Ukraine. The former owner of the refinery Russian Lukoil explained its delay since October 2010 by low profitability and unfavorable conjuncture of the Ukrainian market.
