Entry to Russia to be denied to more than 300,000 foreigners

About 180 thousand foreigners who have violated Russian laws since the beginning of this year will be denied entry to the Russian Federation, it was reported today by the Federal Migration Service (FMS).

"Since the beginning of the year, the same fate has befallen more than 180 thousand foreigners. The leaders are the citizens of Uzbekistan (41%), Tajikistan (21%), Kyrgyzstan (9%), Azerbaijan (6%) and Ukraine (4%)," a representative of the Federal Migration Service is quoted by "Interfax".

Files to ban entry to another 120 thousand foreign nationals are currently under consideration. "In total, about 300,000 foreign citizens who have violated the conditions of their stay, in accordance with the law, will not be able to enter our country," the FMS explained.
