Code Red for torrential rainfalls in South Bulgaria
A Code Red for very dangerous meteorological phenomena has been declared in two districts of South Bulgaria due to intensive rain showers over the past 24 hours.
The code remains in force for the districts of Smolyan and Kardzhali, where stormy wind is expected either. The quantity of rainfalls per m2 in Smolyan exceeds 8 l. The rain continues there and the level on October 29 is expected to be more than 50 – 60 l/m2.
