Shell rejected Ukrainian pipes
In the near future Shell sees no possibilities to use Ukrainian origin pipes for implementation of projects in Ukraine due their inadequate quality and intends to import pipes from other countries – Japan in particular.
“We have repeatedly declared our readiness to use Ukrainian products subject to the fact their price and quality comply with foreign analogues. At this stage there are no pipes like this in Ukraine, but we do hope they will appear soon”, – press service of Shell in Ukraine has noted.
The press service representative has also stated that Shell works with Ukrainian pipe producers with the aim to enhance the quality of their output.
“Our agreement has been concluded for 50 years. We hope that Ukrainian producers, which will satisfy our needs in these products, will appear within this 50-year period”, - press service representative has noted.
