The Transnistrian authorities will toughen control over the sale and preservation of gasoline and gas-oil in the region, as per a draft law approved by the government and submitted to the lawmakers for consideration.

The document envisages that all the organizations dealing with the sale or the preservation of petroleum, oil, and lubricants, will have to be provided with special measurement and control equipment. The bill is expected to come into effect on January 1, 2014.
