Georgia to head for massive construction of 3-star hotels

According to the Head of the National Tourism Administration Giorgi Sigua, “negotiations with one of large Israeli companies on the construction of 3-star hotels in Georgia have been already started”.

He has noted that they involve the construction of approximately 5-6 hotels of this kind.

“Georgia will for sure build a large number of 3-star hotels, “where the prices, even during the season time, will be 80-100$ on average”, - Mr. Sigua has stated and added that “when the tourist flow grows, there appears a good demand for hotels of this kind”.

According to him, there is a law “On tourist zones”, which needs “some elaboration and will be undoubtedly elaborated, making Georgia even more attractive for investors”.
