Illegal ballots seized in printing house in Kostinbrod
Many illegal ballots were seized in a printing house in the town of Kostinbrod near Sofia, the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office has announced.
Over 350 000 printed and ready for dispatch ballots for the Parliamentary elections on May 12 were found in stores. Multiprint company has fulfilled its obligations under the contract with the Council of Ministers to deliver the ballots to the local administration by May 8.
The ballots discovered on Friday night exceed the legal amounts. The Prosecutor's Office announced that is has started a pre-trial proceeding after the signal and the check-up of the State Agency for National Security.
