State Program on development of North Caucasus Federal District close to approval

The working group of the Government Commission on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District has held its second meeting at the Ministry of Regional Development, chaired by the Minister, Igor Slyunyaev.

The Commission's goals involve developing and implementing the state programme for the North Caucasus Federal District until 2025, and the activities of the federal program for public investment programmes and projects.The Chechen Republic was represented by the Minister of Industry and Energy, Galas Taymaskhanov, and the Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade, Brilliant Osmayev.

The participants discussed the development of the state programme of the Russian Federation, «The development of the North Caucasus Federal District until 2025.» The project is to be submitted to the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia by December 1. Brilliant Osmayev said the Chechen side presented their proposals on «Sustainable development of the Chechen Republic.»

Progress of the working plan and the programme for providing guaranteed state support for investment projects carried out in the NCFD and progress in 2012 in the North Caucasus Federal District of investment projects that have received public support from the Investment Fund of the Russian Federation were also discussed «Grozny-Inform».
