Abkhaz president sees improvements at Georgian border

Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab met Russian Deputy Secretary for National Security Rashid Nurgaliyev and noted improvement of the situation at the Georgian border.

Abkhaz Vice President Mikhail Logua, Prime Minister Leonid Lakerbaya, Russian Ambassador to Abkhazia Semen Grigoriev and head of the Russian Border Directorate of the FSB in Abkhazia Sergey Komarevtsev.

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili called for consolidation at the Temple of Bagrat in Kutaisi on Sunday to bring Abkhazia and South Ossetia under Georgian rule again.
