Russian PM visits exhibition of investment projects at Sochi-2012

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has started his day with a visit to an exhibition of investment projects of Russian regions at the Sochi-2012 Economic Forum. He was accompanied by Vice Premier Dmitry Kozak, heads of ministries and agencies, heads of regions and other officials of the forum, RIA Novosti reports.

The Tver Region presented a complex of housing, hotels, commercial and business center for 120 ships. The complex construction will start a few kilometers away from Tver in May.

Adygeya and Karachay-Cherkessia presented their resort projects, Chechnya described the investment platform in Grozny.

Medvedev was greeted by a robot at the North Ossetian stand. The region presented the Mamison project planned for launch in 2014.

The Russian PM met Dagestani Leader Magomedsalam Magomedov.

Medvedev visited the stand of the Volgograd Region and tossed a coin into the fountain of the exposition. A five-year old girl greeted him and read verses.

The greatest exposition was presented by the Krasnodar Territory. It is a Formula-1 racing track planned for the Imeretinsk Lowlands and the project of yacht ports on the Black Sea coast.

Medvedev is attending a plenary session on «Competitiveness: a matter of development or survival?».
