Russian authorities decide to replace the country's ambassador to Turkey

The Russian authorities have decided to replace the country's ambassador to Turkey.

According to information VK has received from Turkish diplomatic sources, the former head of the Russian diplomatic mission in Ankara, Vladimir Ivanovsky, will soon return to Moscow and be replaced by Andrew Harlov, director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Ivanov has already held farewell meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gül and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.
