57% of Russians believe situation in the country is “revolutionary”

According to the poll, conducted by “Levada-Center”, 57% of people questioned agree that there is a revolutionary situation in Russia today.

If the parties of the pre-revolutionary Russia were represented at the elections today, Bolsheviks would win with a large gap – 25% of people questioned would vote for Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (Bolsheviks). I.e., the sociological research shows that Russia in general is still a left-wing country.

The research of the Sociology Institute at the Russian Academy of Science called “Twenty years of reforms in the eyes of Russians”, presented in 2011, showed that the share of social equality supporters stably amounted to more than two thirds of the population. At that, it grew from 67% in 2010 to 73% in 2011.
