No abrupt change in Bulgaria’s foreign policy is expected

In an interview for the BNR new Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin said that no drastic change in Bulgaria’s foiregn policy can be expected.

Bulgaria will concentrate more on the Balkans and the Black Sea region. As to the Middle East, its engagement would be slightly modified as this country should not exceed its capabilities. However, that does not mean Bulgaria withdraws from its political engagements to that region in its capacity of EU member, Minister Vigenin further pointed out.

There is no final decision on declaring the Hezbollah military wing a terrorist organization. Evidence is not explicit though some indirect proof is available. At this stage collection of evidence will continue, the new Bulgarian foreign minister also said.
