Minister Kristian Vigenin draws up Foreign Ministry priorities in BTA interview

The newly elected Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin gave an interview to BTA in which he drew up the priorities of the Foreign Ministry.

In the first place he stressed the strong commitment of the Ministry in Bulgaria’s economic policy. The Foreign Ministry should be more active working with the Bulgarians abroad, Vigenin argued. Schengen, in his view, is another priority. Minister Vigenin added that the Good Neighbor Agreement with Macedonia would remain on the agenda and that Bulgaria would continue its active involvement in the Middle East and the Southern Mediterranean.
