Moldovan entrepreneurs pay business visit to Turkey

A group of Moldovan entrepreneurs are paying a business visit to Istanbul, Turkey. During the visit, they will attend the EVTEKS-2013 exhibition, an international home textile fair, held on 15-19 May, the head of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marina Petrov, has said.

At the same time, the Moldovan businessmen will participate in the Buyer Mission Programme. The visit is organised by the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Turkish embassy in Moldova.

The EVTEKS is the second largest exhibition in the world in this area and the major one in Turkey. The event will host over 1,000 Turkish and foreign participants. Companies from Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Poland, Russia and from other countries are also attending the event. These companies will present their latest and most innovative products.

At the same time, the Buyer Mission Programme is held in Istanbul on 13-16 May. Moldovan economic agents are also participating in the programme. The event’s agenda includes bilateral meetings between entrepreneurs. The programme is organised by the Uludag Exporters Association, with the support of the Turkish Economics Ministry and is meant to facilitate bilateral trade and economic ties between producers.
