Folk village project to be opened 18 May in Odesa

Tourist and cultural complex «Folk village» will be opening 18 May in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The organizers of the project reported on 4 May.

«Multinational cultural village “Folk village” is an exhibition-fair of national trades, master-classes of national ethnic trades, art groups performances, competitions in the categories of folk instrumental creativity, vocal works, folk dance, folk pasticcio, national films, folk fine art , arts and crafts, art photography, florists, stylists, green tourism,» the organizers noted.

According to the preliminary plan of events:, in the village Europe Day in Odesa will be celebrated May 18-19, Annual Children's Day Festival ― May 31-June 2, World Wide Knit in Public Day― 8 June, Coffee and Tea Festival, Green Tourism, the Creative Festival, the festival of design and decor; pottery week, Vegefest ― healthy food, Cheese and Wine Festival and others. The Folk Village will be held through 18 May ― 30 August, 2013.
