Election campaign closed on May 10, 2013
Today, May 10, 2013 is the last day of the pre-election campaign for the early parliamentary election in Bulgaria on May 12. Today is also the last possibility for sociological agencies to voice results from their drills on election attitudes. In an interview for the BNR the head of the Central Electoral Committee Krassimira Medarova said that the Committee is satisfied with the preparation for the vote up to date.
In her words so far there are no signals for serious violations of the pre-election campaign. The campaigning and the announcing of data from sociological agencies are not allowed tomorrow and until 8 PM on Sunday. Polling stations will be opened at 7 AM. There are 45 parties and coalitions competing for the votes of the citizens. The threshold for entering Parliament and the distribution of the 240 seats is 4%.
