Turkey to invest in Georgian textile industry

An official of Calik Holding (Turkey) arrived on a three-day visit to Georgia yesterday to discuss investments in a sewing factory in western Turkey, Trend reports.

The delegation is headed by director of the company's subsidiary Calik Textile. It plans to open a sewing factory with 600 employees in Georgia.

The delegation will visit Adjara, Guria and Imereti. The company officials will study the business climate of Georgia.

Calik Holding has $6.5 billion of assets.
