Sochi authorities to adopt a law prohibiting to restrict access of city residents to health centres’ beaches

Sochi authorities are going to adopt a law securing the right of local residents to attend health centres’ beaches with restricted access. This was announced by Sochi Mayor Mr. Pakhomov at a session of the City Assembly on April 25.

The Mayor said that currently the resort’s residents were able to enter almost all beaches. However, there are health centres that have found legal tricks to deny citizens’ access to the coastal territory. They register their beaches as therapeutic area, which allows them to let go only those who stay at their facility, Yuga reports.

By the next session of the City Assembly, to be held in May, they will file all the documents needed to take decision.
