Cash-in-transit guards of Bank of Georgia on strike

About 80 cash-in-transit guards of the Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi have been on strike since April 25 morrning, IPN cites their lawyer Dmitry Sadzaglishvili.

A preliminary strike was organized last night. They protest because the Security Police was hired for the cash-in-transit service on April 23.

They will gather at the main office of the bank on the Street of Gagarin at 11.00 am.

The Bank of Georgia said that the Security Police had been studied for a year and seemed more efficient for the job.
