Beach territory renting auction conducted in Romania

Hundreds of companies have participated in the auction to rent beaches at the Romanian coast of the Black Sea. The majority of them have sought for areas in Mamaia, but even Vama Veche has been quite popular.

The Dobruja Black Sea Basin Directorate (ABADL) has sold almost 300 thousand square meters of beaches along the Romanian coast by the auction. The auctions were carried out for three days. The balance of the territories will be put up for the next round of the auction.

As expected earlier, the most active fight has taken place over Mamaia resort beaches, where 89 sectors have been sold by auction. According to the ABADL representative, there have been 4 bids per lot on the average.

The prices have varied depending on the location. The results of all auctions will be announced at the end of this week, Cuget Liber S.A. informs.
