Russia to print international passports for CIS migrants

Russia will print international passports for CIS migrants, RIA Novosti cites Victor Ivanov, head of the Federal Service for Drug Control.

Ivanov reminded that President Vladimir Putin had ordered border guards to allow migrants to enter the country only with international passports in 2015.

National passports do not meet the ICAO norms. Tajikistan has no technologies or finances for such passports.

According to the official, the international passports will be printed for Tajikistan on credit.
