5 to 7% growth in tourists at Bulgaria Southern Black Sea coast

Europe’s biggest tourism fairs – in Moscow and Berlin – have suggested that the number of tourists at Bulgaria’s Southern Black Sea Coast will increase by 5 to 7 percent this summer.

The news was circulated by the Regional Chamber of Tourism in Burgas. The British market is expected to grow by 10 to 12 percent, and the Russian one, by 24 percent. The biggest growth is expected to come from the Ukrainian market, up to 37 percent.

On the other hand, the biggest decline in tourists is forecast for the Scandinavian market, Germany and the Czech Republic. On 24 April the Sunny Beach resort will welcome the first 1500 Austrian tourists. This will be the official opening of the tourist season on the Southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.
