Starting with 2014 airline tickets in Russia will be issued in electronic format only

Clearinghouse president Mr. Sergei Ilyichev said that sales of paper tickets were decreasing, while the share of electronic sales of major airlines was 99%.

«Starting with 2014 we are going to cease using paper tickets», - said Mr. Ilyichev, Yuga reports.

According to him, International Air Transport Association has already started to develop new standards in electronic sales sector.
