Georgia may lose advantages of trade with US

The US Chamber of Commerce may deprive Georgia of benefits, as demanded by US trade unions, Trend reports.

The demands are to cancel the zero tariff for imports of US goods in Georgia, Georgian Deputy Justice Minister Alexander Baramidze said. Trade unions consider that the Georgian Labour Code did not meet the international standards. Georgia has been using benefits of trade with the US since 2001.
