Turkey to be one of world's 10 largest economies by 2023 - Davutoglu

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu says the country will be among the world's ten largest economies by 2023.

The minister said so at a conference held at Dicle University in Diyarbakir.

"By the year 2023 Turkey will be one of the world's ten largest economies. We are canceling visa regimes with many countries of the region. Diyarbakir and Mosul, Urfa and Aleppo, Rize and Batumi, Edirne (Adrionopolis - VK) and Sarajevo are cities share a common and rich history. The borders between our countries make sense," the foreign minister said.

The official also hailed regional cooperation and said that only together could the countries of the region be successful.
