Railway communication will open between Bulgarian and Greek ports

Alexandroupoli has become a strategic port, which provides a quick and inexpensive communication with Burgas and Varna. Rail service will be an alternative to Bosphorus. According to experts, the cost of transportation by rail is much lower, and will reduce travel time from 2 days to 6 hours. Implementation of the project will help create new jobs.
