Armenian president hails Putin

During a meeting on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan invited his counterpart to Armenia and said he hoped for Russia's support.

"Russia is our strategic partner and ally," the Armenian president said.

Putin congratulated Sargsyan on his victory in the recent presidential elections and said he appreciated the way the bilateral relations are developing.
