National statistics reports on export growth

Preliminary figures from the National Statistical Institute show that in January this year the goods exported from Bulgaria are to the cost of around EUR 1.75 billion and that compared to the same month of 2012 export marks an increase of 23.9 percent.
 
The goods imported to this country January are to the cost EUR 1.8 billion, which is 6.4% more than in January 2012. The export for countries outside the EU has increased by 34.8%. Major importers of Bulgarian goods are Turkey, China, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia and the USA. Import from third countries has increased by 21.2% on January 2012, with largest value of goods coming from Russia, Turkey, China and Ukraine.
