Odessa Port freight turnover reached 2 million tons in February

According to the operational data of the Odessa Port chief controller's office, 2.07 million tons of cargoes were processed in February, being lower than the amount of February 2012 by 19.6 thousand tons.

Dry cargo transshipment has grown by 15.8 % against the last February – 1.575 million tons against 1.361 million tons. The growth has been shown by containers, grains, and ore minerals.

In January 2013 two terminals of the port (at Quarantine Pier and Bread Harbor) processed 35 thousand ТЕU (+ 19.6 % against January 2012), while the February result was 41.5 thousand ТЕU (+ 29.4 % against February 2012).

The final result of the second month of this year on bulk cargoes was 492.6 thousand tons (minus 234.6 thousand tons against February 2012).
