Georgian president to lose control over intelligence service

Irina Imerlishvili of the parliamentary committee for procedures has proposed an amendment to deprive President Mikheil Saakashvili of control over intelligence services and authorize the prime minister to supervise the structure.

The president had lost control over the Special State Security Service and will soon lose control over the National Bureau of Court Expertise of Samkharauli.
