Georgian government plans administrative reforms

The Georgian government has planned a radical reform of local government, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, David Narmania, said on February 21.

According to the election program of the «Georgian Dream» coalition and the program of the
government, the country will abolish the institution of governors, Trend reports.

The government's representatives said that, with time, the powers of the federal local administration should be transferred to local administrations.
