US to reduce financing of South Caucasus by 24%

The US Congress has reduced donations for development of South Caucasus by 24% for political, economic and healthcare programs, Georgia Online reports.

Financing of Georgia will drop from $85 million to $68.7 million. The program of Economic growth experienced a major budget cut. The World and Security projects will get about the same amount of finances - $21.7 million.

Aid for Central Asia will drop by 13%, from $133.6 million to $118.3 million.
