Moldovan students to recieve German language certificates

The Moldovan students will soon have the possibility to get German language proficiency certificates, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova Mr. Matthias Meyer, at an open lecture held at the Free International University of Moldova on February 18.

He said that those interested can find the link to a German language test on the website of the German Embassy.

«The successful completion of these tests will allow Moldovan students applying for study certificates at German universities, without any restrictions,» said the diplomat.

In his words, student exchange projects between education institutions of the two countries will also be carried out. In this case, Moldovan students will have the right to apply for scholarships offered by Germany.

ULIM vice-principal, Nicolae Tiu, said that Germany serves as a model for Moldova, in terms of implementing educational technologies.

«Germany is like an engine for the Republic of Moldova. We have much to learn from our German development partners, both in the field of education and in the field of politics,» he said.
