Abrupt price rise in Bulgarian agriculture

The index of producer prices in the farming sector in Bulgaria in the 4th trimester of 2012 has gone up by 20.4% on the same trimester of 2011, the National Statistical Institute informs.

The prices of crops have gone up by 24.5%, while in animal breeding – by 1.7%. The most substantial growth is marked in the prices of grain, where values vary from 31 to 40 percent.
