Salakhov’s paintings demonstrated at Silkscreen of Russia Exhibition

Paintings of Azerbaijani artist Tair Salakhov have been presented at the Silkscree of Russia Exhibition, hosted by the Union of Russian Artists and the Russian Academy of Arts in all regions of the Far East, Trend reports.

The exhibition includes caricatures of Andrey Bilzho, illustrations of Dementy Shmarinov, Sergey Alimov, Alexander Vinogradov and Vladimir Dubosarsky.

Salakhov was born in Baku on November 29, 1928. He has awards of the USSR and Azerbaijan. He is the Vice President and Honorary President of the UNESCO International Association of Plastic Arts, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Hero of the Socialist Labour, People’s Artist of the USSR, Azerbaijan and Russia.

Salakhov has been the First Secretary of the USSR Union of Artists several times. He has a museum in Baku.
