Chisinau hosts job fair

Over 900 vacancies are advertised at a job fair in Chisinau. Light industry specialists stand the biggest chances to get employed.

As many as 26 companies from different economic sectors, as well as 30 public institutions presented their offers at the fair. Thus, private sector employers are looking for 713 specialists, most of them engineers, engineers-draftsman, sewers and cooks. On the other hand, employers from the public sector need professionals for 178 jobs, including 24 management and 10 assistant positions.

Employers said that teachers have the lowest chances to get a job. The National Employment Agency said that no vacancy in this field has been registered in the database.

Most employers are searching for people with higher education, who speak the state language as well as a foreign language. People willing to get a job may access the State Chancellery’s website: cancelaria.gov.md, as well as the National Employment Agency’s site, www.anofm.md.

The job fair is taking place within the «Fabricat în Moldova - 2013» (Made in Moldova - 2013) exhibition staged at the Chisinau-based exhibition centre «Moldexpo» on 30 January-2 February.
