Film director Shakhnazarov receives Armenian Order of Honour

Karen Shakhnazarov, a notable film director and Director General of Mosfilm, has received the Order of Honour from Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, RIA Novosti reports.

The order was granted for strengthening Armenian-Russian ties and cinema achievements. It was also granted for support of Armenian state and national interests, independence, democracy, friendship and peace between the two nations.
