Adventure tourism competitions in Crimea

From 6th to 8th February 2013, competitions in extreme tourism «X-Winter 2013» will be held as the off-road 100 kilometers race near the city of Sevastopol.

According to the competition terms, during the allotted time teams must not only reach the finish line, but also perform a set of tasks, such as terrain orientation, surmounting natural obstacles, emergency assistance, and use of sports and tourism equipment. The winner will be determined by the number of points awarded for completing the tasks.

Competition organizers remarked that «X-Winter» had by now taken place for several years in order to promote and develop sports tourism in the Crimea.
