Earthquake hits Aegean Sea

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 points has been registered at the Turkish coast of the Aegean Sea on January 10, CNN Turk reports.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 points was registered in the area on January 8. Residents of Istanbul and nearby areas could feel it.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 points in the Marmara Sea killed 18,000 people in 1999.
