Three avalanches in the mountains of Sochi

On January 7, three avalanches took place in the mountains near Sochi.

Three spontaneous avalanches with summary volume of  200 cubic metres were registered at ski resort “Rosa Khutor”. As a result of the incidents no one was hurt. No damage.

Altogether 60 avalanches were marked there, 10 of them happened spontaneously and 50 were artificially launched to prevent tragedies according to Press Service of the Southern Regional Emergency Center Russia.
