Romania has invested a record EUR 1,5 bln in wind power in 2012

In 2012, more than a third of investment in Romania’s renewable energy sector was directed into wind energy, its total amount reached a record high level of EUR 1,5 billion, Ukrinform reports.

According to Ernst & Young latest report («Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Indices»), Romania holds the tenth position after the U.S., Germany, Britain, China and other countries in investment attractiveness of the country’s renewable energy market.
