Power transmission line worth more than a billion UAH to be built in the Crimea

The construction of the 330 kV high-voltage line Simferopol – Sevastopol will be launched in 2013, KIA reports.

According to the Chairman of the Crimean Republican Committee on fuel, energy, and innovation policy Sergey Kolobov, the project worth 1.2 billion UAH will raise the reliability power supply networks at the Southern Coast: «We will encircle the system, since at present there is no connection between «Sevastopol» and «Zapadnokrymskaya» substations».

The construction will be conducted by UKRENERGO National Company. The project has passed the governmental appraisal.

Completion of the construction is scheduled for 2015.
