13,000 motor vehicles, 68,000 persons cross Bulgaria-Greece border

More than 13,000 motor vehicles and 68,000 persons have passed through the five border checkpoints between Bulgarian and Greece.

A slight rise is seen in the number of those entering Bulgaria. The figures were quoted by the Director of the Border Police Regional Directorate in Smolyan, Bozhko Bozhkov. More than 7000 vehicles and more than 37,000 persons have entered Bulgaria. More than 6000 vehicles and more than 30,000 persons have left the country.

There are no lines of vehicles at border checkpoints and the situation is normal. The traffic between Bulgaria and Greece this year is weaker compared to end-2011.
