320 tons of pesticides removed from the Crimea in 2012

Starting from the beginning of 2012 almost 320 tons of prohibited and unserviceable weed and pest-killer chemicals have been brought out of the Crimean territory,  Crimean news  reported.

According to the information department of the Crimean Council of Ministers, all districts of the Crimea are completely free from pesticides by now.

At the end of 2010 approximately one thousand tons of pest-killer chemicals were kept at the peninsula’s territory. At that, half of the storages were not guarded.
