Bulgaria ready for joint actions with Macedonia
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev welcomed the decision of the Council of the EU in Brussels to postpone the appointment of a date for starting of EU membership negotiations with Macedonia.
According to the head of state this is a wise, jointly and honest decision, since it points the problems and takes into consideration the voice of the EU member-states in the region, which know the situation well and have what to say. The president reminded that «only the deeds» will show the good will of the Macedonians.
Today we have no problems with the people in Macedonia and the human contacts are perfect, Rosen Plevneliev pointed out. We want to support the efforts of the government in Skopje, Bulgaria reaches out and we are ready for common actions, the president underlined. He stated firmly that good neighboring relations couldn’t be neglected within the EU.
